The Lore
The story of the land of WyeCraft is essentially a story of love and adventure. A long time ago in a land far away a young banished prince was looking for a new home in which to settle. While sailing on a voyage to the new world, his ship was wrecked against the rocks near a beautiful shoreline. Although there were many aboard, only Delta survived. His life spared because he happened to be sickened by food poisoning and had been confined to bed. His body washed ashore. Later he would recall awakening to the sound of beautiful singing. The girl with the lovely voice who nursed him back to health would later be his wife. But at the time, he knew her only as Wye…pronounced We.
Wye’s father was an awful tyrant. He had saved Delta only to enslave him and use him in his fields. Delta would escape with his life, a stout horse, and the assistance of the tyrant’s daughter. They rode until they found a new land with her father in fast pursuit.
Eventually, they were able to elude their tormentors and settled in a new land that Delta named for his beloved. WyeCraft would be their home. This is their story…
